City Needs New Pro For Golf Course

The City of Springfield is hiring for a replacement golf pro after nixing its contract with the previous pro after a federal probe.

IRS agents raided two golf courses, along with the homes of Kevin Kennedy, Junior, last summer.

The city killed its contract with Kennedy in November.

The Springfield Office of Procurement has published a request on behalf of the city's parks department for bid documents to be submitted by February 6th.
