A former Springfield City Councilor is set to serve probation after originally being arrested for indecent assault and battery on a child under 14-years-old.
John Lysak admitted on Tuesday to facts sufficient for a finding of guilt on a reduced charge of committing an unnatural lascivious act with a child under the age of 16.
Lysak was charged in 2015 after he was alleged to have inappropriately touched a girl while camping in Goshen.
A trial was set to begin this week in Hampshire Superior Court.
