Governor Charlie Baker says all state offices are closed today for non-emergency executive branch employees.
Baker is also urging people to stay off the roads today if at all possible as heavy snow is expected throughout the day.
The MBTA is expecting to be on a normal schedule today, but weather-related delays are possible and commuters are urged to be patient.
The governor is also reminding people to clear driveways and sidewalks, and to check on neighbors in need.
