Hospital Arraignment For Man In Fatal Springfield Crash

Charges are being filed against a man accused of crashing a stolen vehicle that resulted in the deaths of four people in Springfield.

Eighteen-year-old Aaron Thorne of New Haven, Connecticut, was arraigned while still at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield on charges of motor vehicle homicide and manslaughter.

The January 17th crash on Union Street killed Andrew Savage, Katrina Lee Maisonet-Jones, Cassidy Spence and Adrianna Hernandez.

It's believed they were all Thorne's passengers, but  his attorney is disputing that he was the driver.  Thorne himself suffered a traumatic brain injury in the crash.
