A man named as a "most wanted" suspect in Springfield has turned himself in to authorities.
Matthew Fortune had warrants for his arrest on charges connected to an assault and robbery of a clerk at a Tedeschi food store on Boston Road last week before turning himself in yesterday.
Springfield police say members of the department's warrant apprehension unit and the Massachusetts State Police were working to track him down before his image was widely shared on Wednesday.
