It's a field trip of sorts Friday for the jurors that are part of the Aaron Hernandez double murder trial.
The Suffolk District Attorney's Office says the jury will visit the Boston site where Daniel de Abreu and Safiro Furtado were fatally shot in 2012, with testimony in court to follow.
Hernandez, the former New England Patriot who is already serving a life sentence for a 2013 killing, is alleged to have shot the men after a brief encounter at a nightclub.
Hernandez' lawyer, in earlier trial proceedings this week, told jurors Hernandez isn't the killer, but instead it's the government's star witness,
Attorney Jose Baez says that Boston Police botched the investigation particularly by contaminating evidence at the crime scene.
