The Springfield Fire Commissioner Joseph Conant submitting a 22 million dollar budget for next fiscal year.
It is basically level funded, only accounting for contractually obligated pay increases.
That amounts to an overall increase of 2.3 per cent.
The commissioner called it a bare bones budget.
