Springfield police are trying to figure out if three juveniles who were arrested Sunday night are connected to a rash of arsons earlier in the day.
The trio was arrested after police say they witnessed them trying to set the Brooking School on fire.
Four houses were destroyed or heavily damaged early yesterday morning, and at least three small fires were set in an apartment building on Union Street.
Amazingly, no injuries or loss of life were reported with any of the fires.
