A Worcester man is suing several Dunkin' Donuts franchises he accuses of using a butter substitute instead of real butter.
Jan Polanik accuses the Massachusetts franchises of using a butter substitute on his bagels.
The suit is seeking class action status, which would allow anyone claiming similar damages to join the litigation.
An attorney for Polanik says the case is about more than butter, it's about a company saying its selling one thing when it's really something else.
