Residents in Longmeadow are asking for action to be taken at a railroad crossing where a public works employee died last month.
An Amtrak plow train hit a truck at the crossing on Bernie Road on March 14th, killing Warren Cowles.
Residents asked selectmen at a meeting on Monday to consider adding a signal at the crossing, or at least better signage. Five people have died in recent accidents at the crossing.
