Court Strikes Down Trump On Sanctuary Cities

The mayors of Boston  and Somerville are pleased with a judge's rejection of President  Trump's effort to cut funding to sanctuary cities.

The president has  been seeking to cut federal funding to cities who provide sanctuary to  illegal immigrants.

Boston  Mayor Marty Walsh says the injunction shows that cities will not be  intimidated by threats, as the Constitution is on their side.

Somerville Mayor Joe Curtatone says as the head of a sanctuary city,  he's pleased but will be monitoring how the case is handled in the  courts.
