Three people are dead and at least nine others are injured after being struck by a vehicle at the Lynnway Auto Auction in Billerica.
Police say a Jeep Cherokee driven by a man in his 70s lurched forward yesterday and drove through the auction building, striking the victims.
The victims who died are two women and a man.
The vehicle was driven by an employee of the auto auction, who was hospitalized after the incident.
The investigation is continuing but officials have said it appears that this is a tragic accident.
