There's an update to the status of Robert Decoteau, the Massachusetts man who was arrested for leading police on a chase in West Springfield in a truck with several pipe bombs inside earlier this week.
Decoteau apparently suffered serious injuries from an incident in his single cell at the Hampden County Jail on Wednesday.
Decoteau is recovering at Baystate Medical Center and is expected to be transferred to Bridgewater State Hospital for a mental evaluation.
