Confederate flags are officially unwelcome at Easthampton High School.
The Easthampton school committee voted to ban any representation of the flag on school property, except for an education lesson, at a Tuesday meeting.
The move comes after a student apparently wore a Confederate flag sweatshirt to school yesterday morning, the latest in a series of racially-charged incidents at the school this year.
