Police in Franklin say two volunteers combing a wooded area may have found the body of a person, believed to be that of Michael Doherty.
Doherty is the 20 year old Duke University student who was reported missing about a week ago after being out with friends.
The body was found about 2:30 Saturday afternoon.
Officials say they won't be able to confirm the identity of the body until the autopsy is complete.
