Some Connecticut state colleges and universities are at risk of closing.
The president of the state colleges and universities system says that the system may have to close some of its schools due to the proposed budget cuts.
If the current budget proposal is adopted, it would cut about 80-million-dollars.
The system's president says that budget hole would be very difficult to fill by simply raising tuition.
