Boston Police Commissioner William Evans is shooting down rumors that a serial killer is throwing bodies into the Charles River.
Evans says the problem instead is people leaving Boston bars late at night and ending up in the water.
He says police are working to educate bars and nightclubs about over-serving patrons.
He also says people should not wander away from bars, and visitors to the city need to do a better job of looking after their friends.
