Embattled Springfield Police Officer Gregg Bigda is back in the public spotlight.
Bigda invoked his Fifth Amendment rights in a gun case involving three co-defendants in Hampden Superior Court on Wednesday.
Bigda was the sole witness at the grand jury indictment of Jorge Sosa, Paul Finnegan and Marquies Johnson.
Bigda was suspended after videotape showed him threatening juvenile suspects at the police station in Palmer last year.
