Some Western Massachusetts residents aren't happy with the decision made by civic leaders to cancel Memorial Day parades because of rain.
That's exactly what happened yesterday in Agawam, Holyoke, Belchertown and Chicopee.
For some of the parades, it's the second straight year of cancellations forced by inclement weather.
Some residents took to social media to say a lot of effort goes into organizing the events, and that servicemembers should be honored.
