Some fast thinking Springfield residents are being credited with helping police arrest an alleged purse-snatching suspect and an accomplice.
A woman was coming out of a grocery store on Cooley Street when a man stole her purse. Reacting to the woman's screams, officials say two of the people called police and a third person tailed the getaway car until police caught up.
The woman was taken to the hospital hospital. No condition report yet.
Two suspects will be in court later today.
