Tolling Bill Dead In Connecticut

It looks like tolls will not make a  return to Connecticut roads and highways anytime soon.

The state House  yesterday debated a bill reinstating tolls for over an hour before it  was tabled.

The maneuver means the bill is likely dead, with the  legislative session ending at midnight tonight.

The House did approve a  bill creating a constitutional lock box for transportation funds,  meaning they can be spent on nothing else.
