Kidnapping charges are pending against a Worcester man after a hostage incident in Northampton this weekend.
Police say 20-year-old Hart Sligh held two people at knifepoint on Saturday after a car deal went south in Worcester and the buyer wanted his money back.
One of the victims apparently said he needed to go to Williamsburg to get the money, but the vehicle being traveled in to get there was pulled over by Northampton police after they were issued an order to be on the lookout by State Police.
The identity of the man who reportedly ordered Sligh to go with the victims hasn't been made available.
