A longstanding Western Massachusetts football tradition on Thanksgiving isn't happening this year.
Chicopee and Holyoke high schools aren't playing each other, as has been the case for a century.
School officials say there are a number of factors, including scheduling and state athletic association realignment.
Chicopee High School will now play Chicopee Comp on Thanksgiving, while Holyoke High School will play South Hadley.
