Bond Case Goes To The Jury

The defense in the Bella Bond murder case is outraged after the judge changed the legal instructions for the jury.

The judge yesterday told jurors that prosecutors didn't have to prove that Michael McCarthy acted alone in the killing of the Dorchester child.

The defense contends that the girl's mother, Rachelle Bond, actually killed the child and she's blaming it on McCarthy.

The girl's body was found on Deer Island in 2014 and went unidentified for months, a period when she was known as Baby Doe.
