A pipeline extension project in Western Massachusetts is garnering some attention.
Massachusetts State Police reports indicate eight arrests were made at the Kinder Morgan project in Sandisfield on Saturday.
Among those arrested was 98-year-old activist Frances Crowe of Northampton.
The arrested individuals, who were described by authorities as peaceful, were protesting a four-mile extension of a natural gas line.
