Attorney General Maura Healey is joining a coalition vowing to sue the Trump Administration over an environmental issue.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has been notified of the pending lawsuit if it continues to fail to meet what the coalition says is its legal obligation to control methane gas emissions from existing sources in the oil and natural gas sector.
Healey says President Trump and EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt are putting the interests of the oil and gas industry above the health and safety of the public and the environment.
