Massachusetts Senior Senator Elizabeth Warren is back in the U.S. after spending the last several days in the Middle East.
Warren was part of a five-member congressional delegation that was led by Arizona Senator John McCain.
The group traveled to Afghanistan, Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates over the holiday weekend.
Warren says she learned a lot during the trip, which marked her first visit to those countries, saying there is nothing like seeing them with her own eyes.
Both Senators are looking for a more uniform policy when it comes to Afghanistan.
