Storm Packs A Wallop For Western Mass

More heavy rain is possible in Western  Massachusetts today, a day after storms packed a punch.

Flooding  was the main issue yesterday afternoon, as officials reported a manhole  cover popping up on Main Street in Springfield, and washed-out streets  in West Springfield, Agawam and Longmeadow.

Also in Longmeadow, a large  tree fell on a house.

Several-hundred Springfield residents were without  electricity at one point, according to Eversource.
