No Fight Against The Fed

The planned merger of Boston-based  DraftKings and its main rival FanDuel is officially off the table.

DraftKings says it's in its best interest to call off the merger with  its fantasy sports rival and move forward as a separate company.

The  merger was facing a challenge from the Federal Trade Commission, which  sued to block the deal.

The agency said the merger would create a near  monopoly as the combined company would have held over 90-percent of the  fantasy sports market.
