A Massachusetts state trooper assigned to the detective unit for Hampshire and Franklin counties is being remembered as a devoted family man and dedicated trooper.
Sergeant Michael Andrews has died after a battle with cancer.
In a posting on the State Police Facebook page, Andrews is further described as a true gentleman who fought the disease with great strength.
He's survived by his wife and daughter.
