Auburn Police officials say they believe the problem with carbon monoxide in department cruisers has been resolved.
An officer passed out at the wheel last week because of the issue and was involved in a minor crash.
Troubleshooting has been conducted by Ford engineers, and modifications were made to address the problem.
Officials from Ford have not suggested any widespread issues in this state and have not said anything about a recall of cruisers.
