Thousands of people are calling for former priest and convicted child rapist Paul Shanley to live in a treatment facility.
More than 15 thousand people have signed the petition since it was revealed that Shanley was being released from prison.
He served 12 years in prison for the rape of a boy in a Newton church in the 1980s.
The petition calls for Shanley to live in a facility where he has no access to children.
