A Massachusetts State Police helicopter crew is safely on the ground after nearly having a collision.
State Police say the air wing helicopter was hundreds of feet in the air when it was nearly hit by a drone.
The helicopter was traveling from the Holliston area and the drone was flying in airspace close to Lawrence Airport when the drone got 100 feet in front of the chopper.
Authorities were unable to find who was flying the drone, but an investigation is ongoing.
