Dentist Settles With Attorney General

Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey is announcing a settlement with a Springfield  dentist after allegations of improper billing.

Doctor Annie Watson and  her practice, Gentle Smiles, will return 500-thousand dollars to the  state's Medicaid program, MassHealth, per the terms of the agreement  shared with the public on Monday.

Specifically, Watson was accused of  improperly billing MassHealth for emergency pain treatment between March  of 2010 and June of 2013.
