Police in Pittsfield are issuing a warning about credit card "skimming" devices that were reportedly found inside pumps at gas stations.
The discoveries were made at Lipton Mart Mobil stations on North Street and South Street.
It's unknown how much credit card information may have been collected.
Police say gas pumps throughout the city are being inspected.
Part of the lure now for scammers using skimmers is that many of them can be used by remotes making it even more difficult to detect.
The investigation is on-going.
