The man shot in Springfield earlier this week has died.
The Hampden County District Attorney's Office said 28-year-old David Correa died from his injuries after being shot Monday night in the city's Brightwood neighborhood.
Springfield Police said the shooting occurred around 5:00 p.m. Monday along Orchard Street.
Correa, along with a second shooting victim, walked into the Baystate Medical Center following the incident.
Officers did not release the condition or identity of the second victim.
