Sixteen Years Ago- A Day Never Forgotten

Remembrance ceremonies for the  September 11th terrorist attacks are taking place in Western  Massachusetts today.  

One will be held in Springfield at 10 a.m. at the  Raymond Sullivan Safety Complex on Carew Street, featuring Mayor Domenic  Sarno and others as speakers. 

 Three Westfield victims of the 2001  attacks will be remembered in that city with a ceremony at 9:45.  

One  event of note took place yesterday, in Ware, at the town's fire  department.
