AG Sues Alleging Defective Vehicles Sold

A used car dealership in Springfield  is being named in a lawsuit filed by Massachusetts Attorney General  Maura Healey.

The suit accuses JD Byrider of predatory sales and loan  practices through aggressive sales of defective vehicles with high-cost  loans and expensive service contracts.

JD Byrider has four locations in  Massachusetts, also including Brockton, Dorchester and Dartmouth.

A  statement from Healy's office says the goal of the suit is to recover  the losses to Massachusetts consumers who suffered from failed deals or  repossession.
