The results are in from preliminary elections held in Holyoke and Westfield on Tuesday.
In Holyoke, Mayor Alex Morse made it through to the November election, along with challenger and former City Council Member Jason Ferreira.
In a City Council race in Holyoke, incumbent David Bartley and Darlene Elias took the top-two spots.
In a race for an open council seat in Westfield created by the retirement of Mary O'Connell, it was Michael Burns and Dawn Thomas advancing.
Voter turnout was 12-percent in Westfield, while it was just under 14-percent in Holyoke.
