Connecticut Still Seeking Budget Agreement

No major progress is being reported  following a two-hour meeting between Governor Dan Malloy and legislative  leaders.

The governor and leaders from both parties discussed possible  action to bring in more Medicaid reimbursement for state hospitals.

However, no action is planned, and the sides still have not reached an  agreement on the state budget.

That means a new executive order to keep  the state operating will be issued by Malloy on October 1st.
