Springfield Mayor Domenic Sarno is taking action against a club in the city where a deadly shooting happened earlier this year.
Sarno announced yesterday that he and the city's License Commission are suspending the license of Club Pandora, located on State Street, until the club addresses problems with public safety, parking and hours of operation.
Two men were shot and killed outside the club, formerly known as the Kickback Lounge, in June.
Sarno said in a statement that he has heard the heartfelt cries of neighbors in the Pine Point neighborhood where the club is located who say they have been impacted by quality of life issues caused by the business.
