Senator Richard Blumenthal is warning of a humanitarian crisis in Puerto Rico following Hurricane Maria.
Blumenthal visited the island over the weekend, and took a helicopter trip to view the hardest hit areas. He says 90 percent of Puerto Rico remains without power.
Blumenthal is calling for a large aid package in the short term, followed by a longer term recovery plan.
