Massachusetts State Police are investigating a threat that was called in to the Walmart Supercenter on Boston Road in Springfield.
The store was evacuated after the threat was made by telephone at around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Springfield firefighters and the city's arson and bomb squad conducted a preliminary search of the store and didn't find anything.
