Two Springfield police officers are recovering from injuries after someone crashed into their squad car.
Reports indicate other officers were pursuing a suspect with outstanding arrest warrants when the individual crashed into the cruiser at the intersection of Colton and Union streets at around 6:30 last night.
The low-speed chase reportedly went through several neighborhoods and lasted about fifteen minutes.
The two officers were said to have suffered minor injuries, and the driver who was being pursued was also hurt and taken to Baystate Medical Center.
