Police Cleared In Deadly Shooting

A Suffield police officer is being cleared of wrongdoing in connection to the shooting death of a West Springfield  man in April.

A Connecticut state's attorney released a report Thursday  afternoon concluding the use of deadly force by Officer Richard Devin,  who shot Thomas Gezotis, Junior, was justified.

Gezotis pointed a BB gun  at Devin, who responded by firing his service weapon three times,  according to reports.

Gezotis had been a suspect in a stolen car report  in West Springfield.
