Sentencing Set In Pornography Case

A West Springfield  man is set to be sentenced in February after pleading guilty on Friday  to producing child pornography.

Justin Germaine answered to nearly 20  charges in federal court in Springfield  on Friday.

Prosecutors say he took explicit photos of a five-year-old  girl and documented himself sexually abusing the child on various  occasions between November 2015 and June 2016, and then later traded the  photo files he created over the internet.

Germaine will be sentenced  to 30 years in prison if U.S. District Court Judge Mark Mastroianni  accepts the plea.
