Longmeadow is the latest Massachusetts municipality to ban recreational marijuana sales.
Voters passed the ban during a special town meeting.
Similar bans have been passed locally in East Longmeadow and Wilbraham.
The measure was approved because local cities and towns have the option to prohibit recreational pot sales. But they cannot prohibit recreational sales.
