State Supports High Speed Rail

There is significant support from a new survey for State Senator Eric Lesser's proposed high-speed rail service between Springfield  and Boston.

Western New England University has released a poll that  indicates almost 90 percent of people surveyed in Western Massachusetts  support the project, while the support level was at about 75 percent for  Bostonians.

Nearly five-hundred people participated in the poll,  conducted in the last month.

Lesser says he hopes  the survey is a wake up call to those who have questioned the project  and have held it back.
