A Granby High School student is in trouble after allegedly pulling a knife and confronting a school resource officer.
The Granby Police Department says the male student was confronted by the officer and school staffers in the guidance office at around 11 a.m. Monday when he attacked the officer and pulled the knife and a metal club out of his backpack.
The school was placed on lockdown. The student was reportedly held at gunpoint until police backup arrived and eventually dropped the knife, and was taken into custody without incident.
No word on what happened in court since the case is a juvenile one.
