A Holyoke woman has died as a result of injuries sustained in a traffic accident earlier in the week.
Holyoke Police say the unidentified woman was struck by a car on Canal Street about 6:30 Monday night.
Police say she was walking her dog at the time of the accident.
Police are still trying to figure out what happened in the lead up to the accident.
The only thing they are saying now is that a 63 year old man was the driver of the car and that no charges have been filed.
